Being On Time

Requiring vehicles to wait longer can inconvenience not only drivers, but other passengers as well, resulting in future passengers being picked up late. The passengers who continually require vehicles to wait longer are abusing the system. Such incidents will be documented and filed at Lee County Transit. If a passenger has three or more incidents, he/she will be contacted by certified letter reminding him/her of the policy. If such incidents continue, a hearing with the ADA Disciplinary Committee will be scheduled to address disciplinary actions. Sanctions may be given or service may be suspended or terminated at that time.
