Lee County Transit Task Force
The Board of County Commissioners directed county administration in September 2010 to create a work plan that provides funding options for LeeTran. A Transit Task Force was formed to serve for one year and advise the Commission on funding options and transit issues.
The task force is composed of 19 members of the community representing large employers, health care, social services, higher education, and transportation and planning professionals. Meetings were concluded in October, and the final report will be presented to the county commission in January.
